How it works
MindCro Bridge runs quietly in the background:
- Folder watching — automatically captures files dropped into the folders you choose (dedup, hash check).
- Local parsing — reads PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, Markdown and plain text files on your computer. Only the extracted text goes to the server, not the raw file.
- Review-first — no file is written to MindCro without your approval. You can leave a note for the AI on each file.
- Multi-module AI — when you upload an invoice, the AI extracts the relevant rows for the Accounts, Expenses and Invoices modules.
- Drag-and-drop — drop any file onto the window, independent of folder watching.
- Menubar / system tray — when you close the window it keeps living in the background.
Privacy
MindCro Bridge is an app that runs on your computer. We don't see the files you upload — only the extracted text content is sent to the MindCro server for AI analysis, and it's removed from the cache after 10 minutes. Your login token is stored in your operating system's secure storage (macOS Keychain, Windows Credential Manager); it's not a browser cookie.
